Stayed at the grand opera with easyjet holidays in December for a weekend. The location is ideal for exploring the city, with buses and trams close by. As others have said, the plush reception is deceptive if you're staying in one of the old rooms, which are far from 4*. Small rooms with dated decor, but comfy bed, big tv (with english channels) and good shower so fine for a weekend- just don't expect luxury!
Breakfast was good, if very busy, with a good selection of cold food And a few hot options. We also ate in the restaurant one night and enjoyed the meatballs - pretty reasonable prices for an expensive city.
