The hotel is very centrally located and has high standards on rooms, food etc. We stayed in a room on the new/renovated part of the hotel and it was very fresh and modern. The breakfast was great and it was a good place to stay in the heart of Gothenburg.

Excellent situation in the town center. Bycicle available for free: in Gothenbourg the best means of transport is 1) bicycle 2) wawlking 3) tram. In the center it is extremely difficult to travel by car and even taxis have to follow the outscirts of the center.

Friendly personnel.Clean rooms but somewhat worn out.In the room everything is cut minimum and the suggestion to avoid changing the linen sounds more like an economical than environmental approach.

The breakfast room is like a factory: very busy in the morning. However the choice is aboundant and quality ok. The atmosphere of the restaurant is clearly worn out (avoid looking at the cealing).

The swimming pool is offered free of charge to all guests. The sauna doors do not stay closed and therefore the temperature is more that of a hamam (40-50 degrees) than a sauna. The pool is small but clean and nice.

One day my room was not cleaned. Anyhow the cleaning was quite superficial: rapid hoovering and washing of the bathroom taps.
The floor was not damp cleaned one single time during my weeks stay.

The normal price double rooms consist of twosingle (90cm) beds ! If you are accustomed to sleeping more freely, you have to book a pricy room and make a special request.

I'm from India. I got to stay in Scandic europa hotel for 15 days few weeks back. The very third day of my stay was memorable right entiremy life ! again The THEFT ... yes.. i lost most
of my belongings. I felt I am in no man's land ! Another ridiculous stuff is the management didn't helped to at least call the police until i insisted several times.. just they kep on saying.. if police comes to their door steps.. they loose their business. no one will visit thr hotel.. helll!!! what about me and my stuffts? just money minded management.. and for the information..

I some how managed to get the footage of the thief from them and handed over to police (these guys have some other story to cook)...

All i suggest to the viewer of this hotel.. please do think twice before getting into this hotel.. these guys have security systems.. but they either don follo it up or just don botherd about their customers..

In one word.. i would never suggest this hotel... worst management !
