Me and my fiancee stayed here for a weekend before christmas. The room was a little small, but the staff were very helpful and nice, and the hotel was clean and cosy. Good location in the heart of Gothenburg.

I would have given them very good if it was`nt for the to small breakfast area so that we had to wait to get a table at breakfast. The breakfast was good, but nothing like the best I have experienced in Sweeden.

The hotel public places are elegant and the front desk staff was helpful and polite. The room was less than desired, it was a real dark (cery few energy saving lights) and being an inside room without windows it felt like a prison. The room needed upgrading and TLC. The bed was resonable (a double) but my collegue reserved a single and felt as he was falling off the bed all night. The rooms are on the smaller side. Not recommended.

It's in a good location in the centre of Gothenburg, close to everything but still quiet considering it's in the centre of town. The rooms are a little bit dated, but very nice. The beds are good and it's very clean. There was a very nasty smell in our bathroom at times, this came and went so could've been from the drains, from the ventilation system ... I'm not sure.
The breakfast is ok, gets a bit crowded at times, but the food is nice and the selection is good. All in all a hotel I would stay in again.

I go to Gothenburg once a year, and always try to find a nice and new hotel to stay at. And Elite Plaza is a nice hotel. The service is good, but not what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. The location is perfect, very central and in walking distance to everything. But what really made my day is that they have a complimentary new jag for the guests. But will I go there again, probably not.
