I went to Gothenburg for business and as this hotel was in the company travel agency list and I booked during my holidays I didn't spend time checking the reviews.
Huge mistake!
The hotel is actually in a boat (anchored) but in the river and in the port area.
Apart for the outside environment not being very "woman" friendly and in the middle of nowhere, I tried to checkin but the room was not up to the minimum standard of other Ibis I have been before. The room was about the size of the bed and the shower room the size of the smallest boat/ship shower I have been. The entire room smelled like canalization as well, vey humid.
The heater was off in a very cold night and I decided to find another hotel, as I was in town for 3 nights.
Regardless of the situation at 11PM and having to leave the hotel, they charged me a night.
Have to mention that the hotel I went to after this one was in the city center (near all the other good hotels in the train station) and about the same price.
