The great place for staying. Friendly personal. Great breakfast. Clear and comfortable room. Good location in the city center.

Very nice hotel located in the city center right next to Liseberg and Universeum. A short stroll or a tram ride to shopping at Nordstan and surroundings. Ask for a room with a view of Liseberg, especially if you happen to be there during Christmas when the amusement park is lit up with millions of christmas lights.

Our standard room was, well... standard, with a nice comfy double bed, bed sofa etc and a great view (15th floor). The breakfast is good, with a wide variety of choices, catering to all tastes and needs. The staff is great; professional, fast and very service minded.

It is primarily a business hotel, with the conventon center right next door, but we found it a perfect fit for us (1 Ad, 2 Ch) as well. With Liseberg across the street we could go back to the hotel for clothes, cameras and everything else we forgot to bring in the morning.

I've just come back from Gothenburg where I stayed at the Gothia Towers hotel.

A general summary is that I was disappointed with it. The hotel has a big exhibition centre in it but they applied the same building quality to the hotel. So you walk into the reception area and it has incredibly high ceilings and then the hotel bar feels more like it was thrown up as an exhibition stand in the corner.

The rooms are very functional but this is an expensive hotel and quite frankly I have paid a quarter of the price and got a far higher quality room.

Overall I wouldn't recommend this hotel and if I go back I will not be staying there again.

Stayed at this hotel at the end of January 2012. Although there is heavy construction going on for the 3rd tower (and renovation of one of the other towers) there is little noise or disruption to speak of. We had an lovely 'executive' room on the upper floors, which meant we could use the restaurant on the 23rd floor for breakfast.

The lifts are under renovation - and the sooner that is done the better, although there were plenty of lifts, so no big problems for us. The in-room TV was great! huge! with loads of cool VOD movies, some not even on DVD yet - I think it was quite new.
