Had a family trip with my fiancee, my mum and dad. Very nice area, but to far from the center of Gothenburg. But for a family overnight it was a nice place.
The staff in the receptoion were medium friendly, hardly a smile. But did the needful.
The rooms were new and clean. All they have of bathroom needs, was toilet paper and towels. All the soap they have are dispencers; only one for both shampoo and soap! In a poor excuse of saving the environment, Petter Stordalen must come up with something better. A message to him; how stupid do you think people are. The only thing you are saving is your money not having proper soaps and shampoos. The price of the hotel should give better service to the customer, eitherwise it is a nice average hotel in a nice area by the water.

The hotel is not in the city center. To someone who has just 2 days to walk around Gothenburg is not the ideal. However, to those who look for a nice hotel with good transports to the city center and in a great neighborhood and with a good quality/price, this is perfect. The hotel architecture and design is quite different from the usual and very nice. It is situated in front of the river where guest can take a ferry to the city. Also the bus stop is near the hotel. Nearby there is a kind of bicycles’ rent system.
The room key allows access to a small but nice fitness center with an outside Jacuzzi. The breakfast being good with a huge offer, was very crowded. Around the hotel there are a convenience shop and a good offer of restaurants. This is not a luxury hotel but very good to stay with family. (August, 2010)

I call it "a very good" hotel for business trip to Hissingen or Gothenburg.
If you go for business at one of the companies at the area, check with them if they have a special price agreement with the hotel, before you book.
It is half hour drive from the international airport, with a standard price of approximately 500 kr when arriving and 450 kr when leaving.
It is a non smoking hotel.
Free Coffee, tea and water available 24 hours at the lobby. Early bird breakfast at the same spot, with croissants and fruits, if you need to leave to work before the breakfast starts.
Breakfast of very good quality and variety, starting from 6:30 on week days and 7:30 on weekends. Enjoy your free  newspaper, even in English, at the breakfast area.
For dinner and drinks, you can trust the hotel restaurant on the sixth flour. Very few other choices in walking distance. Alternatively, go downtown.
Take the boat-bus to downtown. Pick up your 21 kr ticket from the hotel reception or on board. The boat runs every 30min during the day and every hour at night. Check with the front desk for the time schedule. The ride to downtown is 15 min to 25 min depending on the stop you want to get off.
If you go for business at one of the large industries or engineering companies around, check if the shuttle bus service of the hotel that runs to and from them could drive you.
The rooms are quite large but simple. You will find a mini bar and soap dispenser on the wall for the lavatory and bath. Only one large and one small towel per person. Check tha wardrobe drawers for any more towels, extra pillow and blanket. TV is acceptable with some foreign new channels, but the movies could also be in English, as the Swedes keep the original audio track. Don't expect to find more room amenities. For a safety box, check with the reception, as there is not any in the room (at least not in mine).
Watch out the ventilation button on the wall: this is only for cooling. If you need to warm up the room, check the regulator of the radiator in front of the window, behind the curtains. The radiator in the bathroom is electric and it is you who should make sure that it is on at the time that you will need it.
Pick up username and password to access the free WiFi Internet. Each voucher is valid for a day. You will find a large desk and accessible power supplies to work in the room. public PCs at the lobby  are also available.
Spa etc. is advertised but didn't experience it.
The Conference facilities in the hotel building and the building across the street are very well organized.
No shops around. A small tobacco and convenience store next-door to the hotel might serve some of your needs.
If you drive a car, check with the reception about the right spot to park. Most of the parking places are reserved for special functions or they are paid up.
Each time, I  overcome the fact that I have to go out to smoke, that the room is relatively chilly and that the hotel does not offer slippers etc., and I appreciate the rest, including the affordable price and the carefully chosen high-value artwork.
I've been there several times and I will return (for business).  

Good value, nice location and facilities. There are a number of restaurants close by and getting to the city centre by boat-taxi is a great experience. Free wi-fi
