This hotel are good situated straight over from the train station and 10 min walking distance to town centre. Noice free so no problem from the station. Good parking oppertunities on the street outside (free during evenings/nights, half of Saturday and all of Sundays). An above average swedish standard breakfast included in the price. Nice personnel. The only setback is the "free" internet. Free - yes, but very slow and the signal strength is very low all over the place. But besides this, the hotel are a solid choice.

We were a bit dissappointed when we arrived on a hot summer day. The room was warm and stuffy, and there was no air conditioning. The maid should've opened the window a bit at least. And our room was also quite small.

One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because of the advertised free internet. But we soon discovered that it as so s-l-o-w. It was impossible to use. We asked if it was possible to upgrade the internet. And it was, at an extra cost of course. But it was impossible to log off the old user (with the slow internet) and log on with the new, faster user. We tried to get helt from the reception, but they didn't know what to do. This just isn't good enough, if you ask me.

I was almost certain that I would not recommend this hotel. But then again... The breakfast was great (and included), and it was the cheapest available hotel in town (not considering B&Bs, hostels etc). So, under doubt, I put "yes" under recommend.

Nice hotel with service minded staff. Rooms are ok+ even without air-condition. Playroom for kids on first floor. Good menu in restaurant. They serve great Tapas. Cousy backyard for summer evenings. Short walking distance to city centre (7-10 minutes)

The hotel staff here is very friendly and helpful at all hours. I had a nice room on the 4th floor. I thought the train station across the street would be a noise problem, but with all windows open I did not notice it. The Rail Station was very convenient to the hotel when you come from the Copenhagen Airport by rail, just walk across the street and you're done. The Grand Hotel has a very nice morning breakfast and they also have lunch and dinner as well. A nice bar area to share stories with colleagues into the night. I will come back again next year.
