The hotel is a place to stay for a couple of nights but not a lot more.
I saw the photos on the website and looked forward to a newly decorated room which bright colours and modern furniture. I got an old, out-dated, dusty room with not a lot going for it. It was very dark and the lights all hummed which is annoying when you are in Sweden in the winter as you generally need the lights on.
I thought I would drown my sorrows in the mini-bar but when I opened the dark mahogany cupboard up there was an empty space where I could see through to the carpet.
I wouldn't have paid for this hotel had I known what I would be getting, I would have stayed in the Comfort Jazz instead. I think if you get a new room then you'd probably be fine but the old rooms are pretty grim.
Aside from that the breakfast was good though typically Swedish and I was there when there was a large business group there and they flooded the breakfast area each morning and were loud and made it very busy.
The staff were very helpful and check in and check out were very efficient.
