I have stayed at this hotel several times. You are always received well by the staff in the restaurant and in the reception.
The single rooms are small but have everything you need.Worth mentioning is that the single bed is rather narrow for those that wants a bit of space.
The bathroom is also small and with a shower . Their restaurant is quite cheap and the surprise is the plank 'plankan' in several variations which is really 80s but it has its revivial I guess. breakfast is also good and is included. There is no aircon so the rooms get warm in the summer. Good location

First time in Boras, we got this Best Western for a good price, given a single room in the "other building", room 261. I was a bit concerned about the whole "other building" concept but was worried for nothing! Room was decent sized for a single, OK sized bathroom, comfy bed, fast Wifi, delicious breakfast and located on a street with a small grocery store and several restaurants with local prices. Parking was available for 120 Kr per night, in a shared garage. But note the hotel only owns about 7 spaces, so if you come too late you might have to park elsewhere. All in all an excellent stay for a budget conscious business traveller and we'll gladly stay here again when in Boras.

Like other reviews said, be sure to check which building you are staying in. This Best Western owns an 'annex' building 1 block away that is 15-20 Euros less per night. It was not acceptable in my opinion. Overall staff were great though. OLD BUILDING: down two street levels via stairs that are a pain with luggage, lift in building, clean and comfortable beds, no peep holes, no alarm clock, no toiletries, no reception desk, hardwood floors, dorm room size, tiny shower, no roomservice, walk to main bldg for breakfast, hair dryer didn't get hot and won't work in bathroom plug, good water pressure, convenient grocery store across the street, free Wi-Fi. NEW BUILDING: The main hotel building and rooms are very nice. Everything you'd expect from a 3-4 star. Updated and well worth the extra per night.

ok, if you booked your room, make sure you indicate which building you want. Best western just took over the small hotel that used to be called city boras. the price difference is around 1000 kr which is for me is not worth it. when i booked thru booking.com, i got really good price, but turned out they put me at the old city hotel building.
you have to do your check in the main hotel, then walked from there, down the stairs to the the main road, in the middle winter night.
the room is basic, comfortable enough, single bed, a bathroom and desk.
location wise, it's very good, directly across from ICA supermarket, above a chinese food resto, and the city plaza, so cant complaint.
staffs were pleasant, i guess they kinda now me, since i visited them so often
of free wi fi is a +
resto and breakfast you have to walk to the main building
