Arrived fairly late after driving over from Arlanda airport and was met by a very pleasant, helpful and happy receptionist. I was staying for one night on business and was booked into a deluxe room which sadly wasnt very deluxe in my opnion. Room looked very out of date and in desperate need of an overhaul, same for the bathroom suite which looked like something out of the seventies. Shame as its a lovely building in a great location with very friendly staff, once the bedrooms are sorted out i would stay there again but until then i will stay elsewhere in future.

I stayed in Vasteras with my boyfriend for 2 nights to attend a Wedding Party nearby. We arrived on the Friday night and noticed how quiet the City was.... there were people drinking in the beer gardens on the main square, but it was so peaceful. The building itself is beautiful, especially the grand entrance. Our room was modern and clean, though the bathroom sink let the quality down (peeling surface) and we had a view of the Cathedral. The location is excellent, on the main square, and next to the river for walks. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, with plenty of choice.
But Saturday night, everything changed.... it was so noisy! The street next to the hotel had cars speeding down it, people shouting... and I was woken up at 4.45am by singing and music (more background noise but still noticeable).
So a mixed review really... stay at ths hotel for location, breakfast etc, but try to avoid it on a Summer Saturay night.

Just got home to Enköping sunday morning after 2 nights at Elite Stads Hotel in Västerås, twenty minutes car ride away, Haven't slept for 2 nights because of the noise there, room was so hot we had to have window open which meant we were overlooking a bar that didn't close untill 03 in the morning then the birds took over till 05,30 then I got up for a shower checked out and came home to go to bed. And now I have a neighbour drilling holes in the wall. Tell me is this a conspiracy ?

The hotel is located in the heart of Västerås with shops, restaurants and clubs nearby. Unfortuneately there can be a lot of noise from the streets in the evening - especially in the weekends.

The room was nice and clean although the bathroom was slighty worn down and had a weird smell. We had a double bed but only one blanket for sharing which really only fitted one person.

The breakfast buffet is very good with lots of different foods.

The staff is friendly and helpful.
