Brilliant location, overlooking the river (in fact you can't get a more picturesque area in town), few minutes walk to shopping centre and main square and 7-10 min. walk to train station, so don't bother with taxis even in cold weather. Looks more new and luxurious at the pictures than it actually is. Typical Swedish as far as breakfast (all 3 different hotels I stayed in the country serve identical breakfast!), free WiFi and customer service concerns: cold, distant but effective. No major problems. A shop at lobby area, open 24/7 where you can buy essentials from thermal under ware to snacks and hot drinks is an advantage. Very comfy bed: slept very well. However overpriced for what it offers: no toiletries in the bathroom, tea/coffee tray or any other "treat" that will make you feel special at the price of 200 euros for a standard room per night. A nice restaurant with river views (operates as breakfast room also) with a long wine list and some interesting dishes: the salmon main course is highly recommended. Don't even bother for the lemon tart.
