“Not centered but otherwise very good. Would definitely stay there again.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2012

Positive:
- Value for money
- Friendly staff
- Nice and clean rooms (was in room 620)
- Nice Sauna available (needs to be booked, can fit 4-5 people, free of charge)
- included breakfast was good
- Small super market next door
- In a great city

Negative:
- Location: not that bad but you could easily find a hotel closer to the center. It takes a bit more than 5min to the closest metro station by foot.

I would probably book this hotel again if I return to Stockholm.

“Indifferent Staff but Good Breakfast”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

Stayed here for two days with my girlfriend. Central heater wasn't working in the room. Reception offered to lend us a portable heater, but had us come down to get it ourselves. Huh? We also noticed small blood stains on our sheets, called reception to let them know, and in response they said "Ok, we'll send someone up to change your sheets" without any remorse or apology. Again, huh? I am trying to figure out if this is Swedish culture or just rude staff.

The bathroom floor was heated which was pretty cool. The breakfast buffet in the morning was amazing - they had traditional swedish pancakes, meatballs, smoked salmon, eggs and bacon, the works - one of the best breakfast buffets I've had (and I'm comparing this to Best Westerns in the US which basically just give you cereal and a muffin).

The hotel is located about a 10 min walk from the nearest metro station (Odenplan) although when we called the hotel in advance, they told us it was only 5 minutes away. It's quite a walk...don't recommend it during the winter months - you'll freeze your butt off, but at least it's good exercise.

They don't have queen beds in the rooms, it's just two full beds joined together, which kind of sucked for us a couple cause, well, you know :)

Room Tip: All rooms are pretty much the same.

Dear Guest
Thank you very much for you kind words about our breakfast – this encourages us to do even better!
I do apologize for, our Front Desk not being able to give you our very best service when offering you a new room.
This hotel is only 4 years old and the heating system works very well. However, when temperature is fluctuating around zero degrees Celsius it is quite common that heating systems sometimes have problems to follow enough fast. For your information we do have rooms with queen size beds upon request.
It is always unfortunate when a hotel stay does not live up to a guest´s expectations. We strive to ensure that each and every guest experience is satisfying.
Once again, I am very sorry for the inconvenience and I do hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again so that we can give you our very best service.
Sincerely,
Reshi Chibba

“time hotel stokholm”

hotel quite good. close to center, better by bus ( number 2 or 40 around 200 mt from hotel) then by tube ( around 1 km from hotel) . Minimal hotel, there isn t safe in the room, internet is free and breakfast is various and freshness. Close to hotel there are many restaurants, i can really suggest the "stornsad" in Odengatan street ( by bus 2 or 40 , 5 minutes from hotel), good people and good food and very nice atmosphere. It is better to be there at 20 because usually the swedishes people are going to eat around 20,30 and then u can t find any free table.

“Helped us have a merry Christmas”

As soon as we got into Stockholm we knew we were going to have a good time. The time hotel was fantastic! It was a bit of a walk from the central station, about half an hour dragging suitcases, but after traveling for 4 hours to get there, we didn't mind at all. It is such a nice walk too. When we got there we thought we were at the wrong place because for the price we paid, we thought the hotel was to good. Everything looked brand new. The counter staff were so friendly. I rang up the night before we got there and they booked a dinner table for us which was Christmas eve. Anybody who has been to Sweden knows this is not easy.
The rooms were so comfortable. I can't understand what other travellers were complaining about. The beds were massive, the mattresses were soft and each side of the bed came with 3 big pillows. The shower had good pressure and the water stayed hot.
Breakfast was included in the price and had everything we wanted. If anyone is going to stay there, be sure to toast some of the crusty brown loaf of bread!
Everyday the counter staff showed us something fun to do in town. The counter staff couldn't be faulted at all. They were all so friendly.
Make sure you eat at the italian restraunt next door.
My girlfriend and I had a fantastic stay. We would definitely stay here again.
