The Best Western Amani is located about 20 minutes outside of Stockholm in an industrial area that is, nonetheless, quiet and safe. The taxi out can be expensive, better to get a pass and take the tram, it drops a five minute walk from the hotel. Check-in was handled well and the staff was helpful with local directions. The hotel is accessible, with restaurants and entertainment ont he ground floor and guest roms up the elevator.

Rooms are cold and simple, reminding me a bit of dorm rooms. Still, the beds are comfortable (although a reqest for a queen bed yielded a double with two duvets). There is free wireless Internet and TV, no fridge or in-room safe. The bathroom is clean, shower but no tub, moderately good hot water and very good pressure.

Breakfast buffet is included an served until 9:30 - it is popular but the staff keeps things very well supplied. There is a good selection of hot and cold dishes, and the hotel runs an adjacent restaurant and a lobby bar. The hotel is very good value for money and the trams connect swiftly to the city - an upgrade of the room decor would be a big improvement

We stayed here in the summer for two nights and it was cheap for Sweden. It was very basic.

Plus side was free parking, but the hotel was quite far out of the centre so we had to pay for trains and trams which did outweigh the free parking!!

The bathroom was dirty and we had to use flip flops in the shower and i didn't touch anything in there. It was more mould ect....rather than recent dirt if that makes sense :) it just made us realise why it was cheap.

The breakfast was ok not much choice but did the job.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The pear cider in the bar made everything better!!!

We spent almost no time in the hotel and the bed was comfy so we just got on with it. We would not stay there again even if it was a better room as the location was bad for city centre shopping and sight seeing.

If your looking for cheap and don't mind catching two trains to get to the centre then this may be the hotel for you.

The hotel is a bit outside the city, but there is a bus which goes there, so that's not a big problem.
My and my wife arrived there for the honey moon and at the reception they told us that the room reservation was cancelled. We complained a lot 'cause it was impossible and in the end we found out that they (the hotel) cancelled it 'cause they could make more money beacuese of the national holiday that was the day after our arrival.
They didn't help us and we had to sleep somewhere else.
They have been really unpollied and unfair.
