We had a 3 night stay at the Sheraton Stockholm for my birthday. The hotel is absolutely perfectly situated for exploring Stockholm - apart from the bus from and to the airport, we were able to walk everywhere in Stockholm from our base in the Sheraton.

The rooms and bathroom are lovely and have everything you'd expect from a 5* hotel. Also the buffet breakfast is out of this world - everything you could wish for (and more!) is on offer!

My one criticism of what would otherwise be a perfect hotel (and this is typical of all Sheraton hotels) is their wi-fi policy. A 5* hotel which charges the prices it does should be able to offer free wi-fi in room to all guests - the fact that it doesn't just feels like a bit of a money making exercise. Guests can access free wi-fi in the communal areas downstairs and were given 30 minutes free wi-fi but anything above this in the room was charged extra. I wouldn't nornally bother about wi-fi on a short break but it was my birthday and I wanted to check messages/skype family at home. I have stayed in £10 a night guest houses and beach huts around the world that have offered free wi-fi so you'd really expect in this day and age, that an international 5* hotel brand such as Sheraton would do the same.

Apart from the wi-fi issue, the hotel is excellent in every other respect and I would definitely stay here again on a visit to Stockholm.

Excellent located hotel in the central of Stockholm.The staff is very helpful and friendly and will try to all the best if order to give you a perfect stay.
Perfect rooms with all what you need and expect for a night away from home.
Don't miss the breakfast buffet.
I try always to stay at Sheraton when I am in Stockholm, and give the best recommendation to this hotel if you go to Stockholm and look for a central located hotel.

I stayed here on a Sunday night after an eight day dog sledding trip up north and it was great first night of R and R in Stockholm. The Sheraton has a friendly staff, large comfortable rooms and a great location. The hotel is a few blocks away from the central train station (an easy walk with luggage) and right across the water from the old town. I easily walked form here to Djurgarden, Ostermalm, and my favorite area, Sodermalm. I particularly enjoy exploring Stockholm by foot and the central location of the Sheraton made it easy to do so.

First impressions were good - staff were friendly and the lobby looked impressive. The room was average but it had everything you would expect. If there was any slight downside it was the shower - nothing prevented water going out onto the bathroom floor.
This hotel is one of the best located ones in the city, and for a 5 star hotel the prices don't really reflect this, so if you can I would advise to stay here.
