I just came back from staying at this hotel and I liked it very much.

The hotel is very well located, there is a metro station very near it and it is very convienent. Also, it is within walking distance to many of Stockholm attractions, shopping streets and restaurants. I really enjoyed to have the ability to walk from the hotel to any of the greatest places this city can offer.

The hotel is very clean and it looks nice. The room is quite small but very comfortable and I like that the bathroom was very clean and it has everything you need.

The staff is very attentive, they are always willing to help and they are pending of your needs. Also, I liked the breakfast and the room that they use to serve it. It has a lot of light and the food is good.

One thing that I love from this hotel is that they have a coffee machine available 24/7...and the coffee is very good.

The only cons that I can say about the Rex is that they do not offer wi-fi service in the room, but they do have a computer in the lobby and I always found it available. And yes! you can conect to the wi-fi service in the public areas, which was very nice.

Overall, this is a great hotel with a very very good price. You can not go wrong if you pick this hotel.

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel with my wife and we were very satisfied. Overall the hotel is very good, with clean rooms and friendly staff. The room we stayed in was small, but since we were in Stockholm to see the town it didn't really matter to us.
The location is excellent, with an underground stop just around the block from the hotel, but even on foot it doesn't take more than 15-20 minutes to reach the old town (Gamla Stan). The neighborhood is primarily residential, but there are plenty of places to eat or drink something within walking distance.
I can easily recommend the hotel to anyone planning a getaway in Stockholm thanks to the cleanliness and the good value for money (by Swedish standards)

We stayed at the Rex earlier this year and it was in a good location within walking distance to main shopping street and tourist attractions, the room was adequate, very clean and breakfast had plenty of choice. Very good value for Stockholm and they allowed us to leave our hired push bikes overnight. Would stay there again.

just coming back to this one after visiting a year ago (and on many times before that), but knowing the Swedes well, it will be still very good
Very clean rooms ,if a little small, but very good value compared with the very expensive Hotels in Stockholm.
Stockholm is the most expensive place to stay and eat, but agreat city and lots to do-the museums up by the castle are very interesting and if you get a chance get the the train up to Upsalla,the medical museum is fascinating.
