Thank you for taking the time to share your views. While having a contemporary hotel with art, music and design as an integrated theme, at our core is and always will be genuine hospitality with personal service and rooms that we are proud of. Your descriptions - soulless, pretentious, and rude- are the opposite of our values and very clearly contrary to what to many other guests have found when staying with us. It is truly regrettable for us to learn that our hotel did not meet your expectations or suit your personal taste.

Within your review however there is also a serious allegation of food poisoning that we would like to address. We practice very strict quality and hygiene control at our hotel. Besides being the right thing to do, serving literally hundreds to thousands of people per day it is also a MUST. When we learned of the mention of food poisoning within your group we conducted a thorough investigation to ensure that everything was as it should be. It was.

When we explained our strict processes and practices to your group leader in response, he himself was satisfied and even commented on his high opinion of the quality of food that we served you on your first night with us. Food poisoning can take up to 48hours for the symptoms to appear, so every single breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack the affected ate up to 2 days before you even arrived is a possible source. Additionally, had we been the cause then closer to all 20 + of you would have had the symptoms, not just 3, as you all ate the same food.

We are saddened by the fact that this review is clearly aimed to damage our reputation with information which is incorrect, entirely lacking support, and - most alarmingly - based on what you have “heard” from others within your group. In fact NONE of the most serious of accusations above are based on experiences of your own.

We honestly wish you well and we are genuinely sorry to learn that the style of our hotel did not suit your taste. That fact is, however, no means to justify an attack on our reputation.
