Positive:
Located near the center (walk distance). Stuff very friendly. WLAN free. Bed big and comfortable.

Negative:
Hotel and interior a little "old style". Room pretty small. Parking seems to be difficult, since it´s a public street with no garages nearby.

Overall ok if you stay one or two nights, mainly due to the location in the center.
For a longer vacation I would not go there.

We are still not sure this is the hotel our friend from Stockholm intended for us to book but after a rather negative curb-side impression, having arrived late after a long drive, we came to greet it as a Find! Darkly painted walls, attempting for chique, are a bit dismal at night and could use a picture or design or two, but decor aside,the Californian in us enjoyed our access to the first floor terrace with access to comfortable outdoor sofas just off our privately fenced off small patio area where we enjoyed reading our guide books whilst sipping our Vodka brought from our Russia trip. Other Trip Advisor reviews mentioned a cramped dining area for the breakfast and light supper provided at the open kitchen buffet. This was Not the case on our 9/2010 stay. Just a 4 block walk up a slight hill from the street by the venerable Hotel Diplomat, and close to the dock from where the canal boat rides depart, our lodging (at 1/4 the cost of this waterfront elegance) was just perfect for our needs. This hotel is excellent in Östermalm, small and intimate with clean and nice rooms. Breakfast and dinner was adequate but not so much to choose from. Coffee and tea for free, as are the internet in the lobby. Comfortable and spacious beds, with the exception of the extra bed that was very hard. The elevator up to the rooms were very small, then nothing for a person with claustrophobia:) The staff was very nice and helpful, Especially the women. I recommend this hotel.

Stockholm and its people are wonderful. I emerged from the metro into heavy rain and looking confused. A friendly chap went out of his way to help me find my hotel. The weather was such that I didn't want to go far after arrival and was pleased that my bed and breakfast rate included a welcome supper. My room was comfortable and I slept well. It was a more modest hotel than its advertised 4 star rating - but was fine for my overnight stay and I would happily recommend.
