I was traveling with my two friends and absolutely loved the place. The location was great, few minutes walk to the tube and city center within 10-15 minutes walk (even in the winter). We got a very big, spacious studio, with one bedroom and a living room. The bathroom was very spacious. Everything was clean as supposed. We had some problems with hot water, but the problem was fixed very fast. Staff was helpful. It does not have 24 h reception, but the place is extremly secure and safe. There was a possibility of leaving our bags in a locked luggage room, as we had a late departure. And, upon all, the price for this location is great! I would definitely stay there again if going to Stockholm.

I chose this hotel a little by default, as I had made an online booking using the FREYS hotel website, and overlooked the non-refundable booking terms for the earlybird reservation - so do look out for the smallprint when using their website. Having said that, it turned out to be a great twist, as the hotel, which does look rather unremarkable from the outside, and could do with a bit of jazzing up on the communal staircase, has very beautifully, yet simply designed rooms. The rooms are spacious enough for the geenral purpose of a city tourist visit, good quality beds, mini bar, writing desk and internet access. In the summer it can be on the warm side, with no A/C, but the street is very quiet, so not too much disturbance if the windows are left open. The bathrooms have a little bit of a hospital feel about them, but they are spacious enough for one person at a time, and certainly clean. We really enjoyed being in a quiet area of Stockholm, yet we were within walking distance from one of the main shopping streets in Stockholm, and the subway was also within a 3 minute walk from the hotel for a quick journey to the contral points of Stockholm.
The breakfast room did not appeal to us, too much of a youth hostel feel, but we did enjoy the fact that we could grab our selection of breakfast items, which was on the basic side but sufficient, and escaped to the lovely roof terrace.
The room was certainly clean, as was the bathroom; the restaurant and roof terrace were not being given that same attention, but it was within reason.
For the early bird rate that we enjoyed for a 3 night stay in the summer, this is a great find, I would chose it again. In winter I might try somewhere more central, and with a btter comfort and service level in the food & beverage areas one wants to use in a hotel.

The hotel was located in a quiet street near city centre (Drottninggatan was just around the corner). The nearest metro stop was a few blocks away, but there were outdoor stairs you had to climb to get to the hotel from Sveavägen and the metro stop, which might be difficult for the elderly.

The room was nice and clean in general but it was a bit shocking to find an animal fur on the floor! At first I thought it must be fake, but based on the smell that it ommitted into the room, I guess it was real. Minus points for ignoring animal rights and going back to the stone age!

The breakfast was fine, and there were some Swedish newspapers to read in the breakfast room. The hotel prices in Stockholm seem to be somewhat high so Lilla Rådmannen was a good hotel conserning its rates. The 24hour internet was very expensive.

rooms where very good, service also. the breakfast-buffet was a bad joke and very unkind. nothing warm, only cheap stuff. very poor so far.
