Nicely furnished hotel at central but calm location. Very helpful staff. Superb breakfast buffet. Room was comfortable but a bit small - it was quite difficult to get my 80 year old mother out of the bath tub. Besides that I really recommend this place.

If you're in a suite, this is your spot. Looks like wall street in the lobby and bar areas. Breakfast has a decent american and euro variety along with newspapers. Wifi was free, parking you have to pay for, and it took me ten minutes to figure out which door would find me an elevator out of the garage and when i did the elevator was being worked on and just had plywood on the floor and tape everywhere. Not too comforting. Room was hot had to open window in january. staff spoke little english here. flat screen with about 9 channels for tv with some english stations. room is clean and decent in size but not large by any means.

I chose BIrger Jarl for me and my girl friend during our 5 day trip to Stockholm.
Rooms are actually quiet small but feature everything you need. wireless lan free of charge, very good bed and clean bathroom. Staff was very very friendly from receptionist to cleaning personal. Breakfast was a highlight too.
In total Birger Jarl is a modern and quiet stylish hotel, perfect to spend a couple of nights for a sightseeing trip. We will return.

This small hotel offers a great location at a very reasonable cost. Loved the Swedish compact design, very comfortable small rooms with a great staff and I found excellent dinner. The breakfast/brunch was outstanding. We could easily walk to the old town (about 10 minutes), so it was near everything we wanted to see.
