I really like this hotel, I have stayed several times and each time I get the same friendly welcome. This time my room was a little small facing an inner courtyard but it was clean and warm. The rooms have everything you need in them. The breakfast buffet is large and delicious. The hotel is located on the little harbour in Central Stockholm.A very pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

We came to this hotel on November last year and we were a little dissapointed about it.

When we arrived to the hotel we were shocked by the fact that reception, restaurant and bar seems to be all mixed up. The lobby was full of people and just a step away from it, literaly, was people dinning in the restaurant. I just could not stop thinking how the receptionist were even able to do their job with so many things around.

When we got to the room I was a little suprised by the small space. After a quick examination, I found out that the light in the bathroom under the sink was not able to be switched off, our room was facing an inside patio which instead of been quieter was facing the bar and you could hear the noise from it, that the minibar price list was missing in the room (even I called to reception and they did ensure me that it was in the room), no do not disturb sing was found in the room and that turn down service was only offered to those who paid a little bit extra. My partner was a little bit dissapointed as we expected it to be for everyone and he was already thinking how the chocolate would be. This is not a bad place, but it is not just what you expect from a 5 star hotel.

I also had a little incident in the bar when I asked for the menu. They told me that the list of the drinks was in the wall with the prices, which was totally fine for me. My surprise came when I had to pay for the drinks, cause the prices did not match what was writen on the wall.

I really think this is not a bad place, but definately some things need to be reviewed. Breakfast really nice.

Beautiful Traditional hotel along the waterfront. I would reccomend anyone travelling to Stockholm to stay here because the staff were really friendly and helpful and could not do enough to please you. The rooms were clean , warm and cosy with everything you require i.e Kettle, Iron, Hairdryer etc. We had a lovley room with looked over the water. I can see a lot of comments from people saying this hotel is ''old'' and needing work done to it...However this hotel is not modern but its not meant to be! There are too many hotels around at the moment where they all look the same! This hotel has character and charm. When I return to Stockholm I will be booking this hotel.
