This is an exceptional hotel. While you are in the midst of Stockholm, it feels as if you are far away in the countryside. It is very quiet here. The rooms are huge and the bathrooms extremely stylish. The food is superb. I haven't had a better meal anywhere in Stockhholm. This place is a gem - a real find and worth the splurge.

We travelled here and stayed for 3 nights in January 2012 after choosing the hotel on tripadvisor. This hotel deserves all the good reviews it gets. Located on a small island you feel as if you are a million miles from the city yet it is only a 10 minute walk and you are in the heart of Stockholm.
Breakfasts are amazing. All beautifully laid out with something for everyone. Also, served until 11.30 am at the weekend so if you fancied a lie in it would be no problem.
Rooms are tastefully decorated, minimalist in a trendy way with lovely bedlinen and bathrooms are lovely with an amazing shower and nice toiletries supplied. Our only criticism would be there should be tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
A real delight to find this hotel. The attention to detail is second to none with exceptional staff.
Book this - you will not be disappointed!

It was nice to stay somewhere so calm and with the city close enough if you wanted it, The room we stayed in had a lovely view and was really clean. modern in style and i would personally prefer a more traditional feel to an old building such as this but it was very comfortable. Close to Museums and beautiful location. I Can imagine it is amazing to be there in the summer. The food was nice, The staff were really friendly, Great Breakfast!! would definitely stay again.

Freindly staff and nice historical buildings converted into a design hotel. The breakfast (included in room price) was excellent, with local high-class eco item from a buffet. Had a very good dining with the special for the evening - not in the meny - nice fish. This hotel gives you better value for money if you are able the half mile extra!
