We ate here on my wife´s anniversary. I have heard very positive things about the atmonphere in this place. It exceeded my expectations! LIke a living room! Very good service and food perfect in this category (upper middle category) se Well presented and very tasty. Perfect for romantic dinner, anniverary. With or wihtout kids. It doesn´t matter they know how to handle clients.

Just back from 4 glorious days at the Lydmar hotel. Had a great room on 4th floor over looking the water towards Gamla Stan. We ate at the buzzy and tasty hotel restaurant twice it's definitely worth settling in for a great meal and service - hubby has reindeer and I had killer moules. Like the rest of Stockholm booze isn't cheap but the atmosphere here meant it was always comfortable & relaxed. Air tight and warm with a super powerful shower meant that chilly Stockholm was kept at bay (and we were always lulled into thinking it was warmer outside than it actually was).

A very stylish hotel which ticks all the design boxes - check out the wonderful photography exhibition on each floor - plus it actually feels like you live there when you're staying. The absolute opposite of a corporate hotel. We'll definitely stay here again.

Great location to see the sights and shopping - right next door to the National Museum (does a good lunch!)

We spent 3 nights at the Lydmar. It is a brilliant base for exploring Stockholm. We had a very quiet room at the back of the hotel with great views across the water to Ostermalm. The bar & restaurant is very buzzy thoughout the day & evening & is a popular spot for locals for business meetings & fun. The staff are informal but friendly & efficient. The Mathias Dahlgren Food Bar next door is excellent.

Stayed two nights in Lydmar - perfect for a mini-vacation. In a couple of minutes, you can walk to the city center, the lovely Östermalm or most of the museums. Good breakfast, and quite nice dinner as well. The staff is friendly.
