Very friendly people and good sevices again. Really worth it!

Stayed in a room with one bed, our room had windows right over the sidewalk you could call it. Hotel is in the middle of a square that has lots of shopping, and no streets so there is no traffic noise. Was a beautiful open floor plan, had internet and friendly staff. anything you could ever want is within walking distance, we never needed a car for the entire week. We walked everywhere!

Stayed in this hotel for 5 days, 4 nights from October 22nd to 26th. The only thing that I didn't quite liked and found discourteous was that the hotel did not inform us beforehand, even though we booked more than half a year in advance, that they were putting us in Cardinal II, which was located a short walk away. The breakfast room is located in the main building so we had to walk to breakfast in the cold every morning. The walk was under 5 minutes and would not have been a big deal if not because I was travelling with my 60 year old mother with week knees who has limited walking powers and if they had informed us beforehand that the main building was fully booked, we would really have gone somewhere else. The only reason I opted for this hotel other than teleborgslott castle (castle!) is so that she would not have to walk too much. Other than that, I liked the room and the service was prompt and polite. The scandinavian breakfast spread was also excellent. In short, if you are booking this hotel and it matters to you, confirm that you are in the main building!

We greatly enjoyed our brief stay at this hotel. The location in downtown Vaxjo is very convenient to restaurants, shopping, the Immigrant Museum, etc. It is also convenient if you have a car and want to visit the nearby glass factories (30-75 minutes away, depending on the site).

The hotel is a little difficult to find, as it is located on a road that turns into a pedestrian thoroughfare ONLY in the evening. Find a parking spot in a nearby lot and walk to find it -- otherwise you will end up driving in circles!

Our room was very large by Scandinavian standards and was really more of a suite. The bathroom was quite large as well. Everything was very clean. There was some noise because they are currently renovating / doing construction, but it wasn't a problem at all for us.

The breakfast was good, and there was a good variety of items offered.

Most importantly, the cost was quite low for Sweden and we felt it offered a great value.

All in all, we would definitely stay at this hotel again!
