Its no surprise that the website doesn't include exterior photos of this hotel, as it is one of the most unappealing buildings I've seen. However, beyond that, this is a totally decent motel-style hotel that offers good value for money.
My room was well-proportioned and comfortable. The hotel has a great maritime-themed restaurant that serves good meals in the evening and a wide-ranging breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is on the edge of Kalmar, so very convenient for the road network, but it is necessary to drive anywhere for the town's sights, shops, etc. Kalmar is a very pleasant town though overall.
