I hadn't stayed in a Formule 1 hotel before so, after splashing out in Stockholm, the opportunity to try it out was taken. At GBP28 for one night, the value can't be faulted.
The room had a double bed with further single bunk above. It has a washbasin (no toiletries or tissues) and 3-channel tv. You have a PIN code for entry. Toilets and showers are located along the corridor - there weren't any queues and they are self-cleaning, but by morning, they can be rather unpleasant and have the feel of aircraft toilet compartments.
Breakfast was basic but fine and the hotel has a nice "mucking-in" feel about it, staying with lorry drivers, etc. There is a rough hamburger place next-door but no other eating places nearby.

We have just returned from The Formule 1, Jonkoping. A great concept and it works well. If youwant unadulterated luxury look elsewhere but for comfort and convenience especially if your on a budget I dont think you could get much better. The rooms are all standard, each has a double bed with a bunk above, a sink and TV and a small hanging rail. Toilet & shower faciliteis are provided in the corridor - dont panic! Each one is self contained and self cleans and while we were there there was never a queue! Breakfast is simple and typically Swedish - bread, cheese meat and tea, coffee and fruit juices. The hotel is clsoe to the centre and great for a budget holiday - we will stay again! Its one minute walk to the swimming pool , arena and cinema and bowling centre.
