Stayed one night as we travelled by car from Uppsala to Malmo.

The hotel has a car park in an adjoining building and this is accessible by a passcode and you can enter the hotel from the car park too. Car parking is extra. Situated near the lakeside and next to a grand church.

The room was smart and a good size overlooking the church on the 2nd floor and had an acceptable en-suite shower room. The wardrobe space was limited but this would be a problem if you were staying longer I'd expect. Room and shower area were both clean and the room had internet access too.

Breakfast and dinner were buffets and were avilable in the relatively large but cosy dining room, which had a nice airy quality. Food was plentiful and good quality and the typical fare for Sweden.

The receptionist was helpful and spoke good English. Retaurant staff were smiling and efficient.

The hotel was a good stop, easily accesible by car, train and coach. If you're staying longer look further around the lake for a more quiet area, as Jonkoping is relatively noisy (for Sweden) but if you want some nightlife then come here

We stayed just for one night. Visited the match fabric (only 10 minutes walk), enjoyed the sauna (and a glass of free beer), were impressed of the quality of the food (both for the morning and the evening buffet) and the quick check in (the fastest ever). The city is not that exciting but for a overnight very good value for money.

The staff is very friendly and service minded. Food was great! Breakfast buffe had everything you could wish for. The evening buffe was actually a three course dinner and it was perfect. After a long day of skiing it was nice not having to leave the hotel for dinner. The room was fresh, looked recently refurbished. No bathtub though :-(
And a small box tv that felt kind of 80's, but with a good choice of channels.
All in all, the hotel is located in a charming building, the staff is great, good food and a good nights sleep. Not much more to whish for really. We recommend it!

Pleasantly surprised. Rooms were not spectacular but nice and clean. Beds really comfortable (only problem: if your neighbour banged their door, the whole room vibrated!) Excellent location, very close to the station and to the University. Fantastic breakfast, coffee and fresh fruit available all day long and plus, something I didn't know when I booked it: evening buffet (one warm dish plus a nice salad bar) included in the price. Breakfast/dinner area really nice and bright, really enjoyed sitting and working there. Relaxation/exercise room with sauna and a couple of treadmills also available.
