Stayed here for a work conference for two days, and the inital impression of the enormous hall you enter with the reception and breakfast area does not justify this hotel.

I was staying with a colleague, so we had booked a double room with two single beds. The initial room we got was an old dusty room which could barely fit us standing up in there at the same time. We assumed that there had been a mistake, so we went down to the reception, and the response was "there is a pull-down bed, so it is a double room". After arguing for a while, i remembered that i had the free upgrade option due to the Choice Club membership. So we were sent to the renovated part of the hotel and got a slightly bigger room. Still very small and uncomfortable. Breakfast no good either.

The hotel was very nice. The rooms are small but this is Europe...everything is small. The breakfast buffet was good and comprehensive with hot and cold food. The best part about the hotel is that is right next to Central Station. Very clean, modern. Would not hesitate to stay again.

There now I have your attention. I love this hotel. It is bright, modern, the staff were friendly my room was spacious. I know some of the rooms are smaller so could be cramped and I was only here for the weekend so the lack of hanging space wasn't an issue. Great show. Comfy bed. Couldn't ask for more.

Breakfast (included in my tariff) was especially good, bith hot buffet and cold. Coffee and tea are available all day for free. Breakfast was served until 12:00 on Sunday, very civilised. I had a late check out on Sunday (ask at reception) so could stay in the room until 6:00.

The only weakness for me was the restaurant, only a limited choice, but there are loads of good alternatives in the city. Having said that I ate in the hotel, twice and could not fault the quality of the food.

If you have time, borrow the hotel bikes (sit up and beg Dutch style with back pedal brakes) and cycle to the Twisted Tower. From there you can cycle along the coast for a fair way, on dedicated cycle paths. Traffic is not an issue, so cycle through the city centre as well.

I loved the hotel; loved the staff. Can't fault it.

Particular tip, the lights in the restaurant do change colour, you have not had too much to drink.

Stayed at this hotel last year and again this year. Last year it was still under going remodeling so stayed in the cramped rooms but the hotel is much bigger and better this year.

The external look is pretty nice although some scaffolds are still hanging. The hotel is on the wrong side of Malmo Central as everything, including grocery and restaurants are on the other side. Its not much of a problem but would prefer to stay on the other side with family.

Like the fact that there is always coffee and lemon tea served all day. The fitness center is just fantastic, equipments are brand new, well placed mirrors, really HUGE room with 30 feet high ceiling, marvelous crown moulding, and a very royal feeling. It even has a boxing ring.

The hotel does not offer any any bathroom amenities and charged me 20 DKK for a small toothpaste, ridiculous.

The wifi in the hotel is reasonable. Sunday breakfast runs until noon which is very helpful, week day breakfast finishes at 9:30am. The variety of food in breakfast is fairly reasonable.

The bathroom flush/shower make too much noise and you can hear when your neighbors are flushing or taking a shower ;-)

No restaurants on Sunday so you have to eat out.
