The Grand Hotel is very pleasant hotel decorated in a "belle eopch" style in the centre of Lund. Although my single room was not large, it was extremely comfortable and tastefully furnished. The staff were very helpful and friendly. In fact the whole hotel felt friendly from the comfy armchairs in the bar, to the thick rug in the room, to the smiles on the faces of the receptionists.
Rooms come with free internet, which was a bit slow, and ironing facilities, and a free overnight shoe shine service which was a nice touch. I'd happily stay here again.

We got a really nice room at the third floor overlooking the rooftops of Lund. The room was spacious, very homely and well kept. Adding to that a very nice breakfast as well as nice and serviceminded staff makes this my top choice for Lund. As a former student of Lund it was a great way to see an old hometown again.

We stayed at the Grand Hotel for two nights while getting our daughter moved into a residence hall at the University for a semester as an exchange student. Our initial room was on the second floor and though nice sized, didn't have much of a view and was stuffy. When I asked if another choice was available they gave us a room on the fifth floor that had a balcony, which was not available because it was being remodeled. We took the second room and were very happy with it. Though we didn't have access to the balcony, we had lots of large windows and a fantastic view of the town.

Also being remodeled this summer was their on-site restaurant, so buffet breakfast was served in a formal dining room. This was fine with us but we would have liked to be able to have dinner there.

The hotel itself is charming and the staff very helpful. We'd stay here again.

Nice, clean, older European style hotel. A bit in disarray while I stayed here as they are doing some renovations. Rooms are dated but clean. Close to train station, but feels a little off of the beaten path.

Have been told by locals that the resturaunt is excellent, but it was closed for repair. Breakfast was not so good.
