It was nice cosy hotel , served complimentary evening buffet which was very interesting. When I arrived late in the evening I thought it was far from center but next day I realized that it was still quite central. Good hotel specially if you have to do business all day long.

I came here with my husband during a business trip. It was a pleasure as the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spec clean, breakfast was full of varieties and dinner was as per taste. Enjoyed the jaccuzi and gym. Free highspeed wifi was added advantage.
Overall a great place to stay and walking distance from station!

I stay at the Planetstaden very regularly (over 70 nights in 2010) for business and am very glad I switched from my previous hotels in Lund and Malmo. This used to be part of the First Hotel chain and moved to Clarion early Summer this year. It's in a great location if you do business in Lund, situated only a couple of minutes from Ideon and a walk from Lund itself. Although the hotel is pretty plain on the outside it was originally intended as a boutique or design-style place to stay. Great buffet breakfast, now the choice of a free buffet dinner or charged light evening meals and friendly staff. It has free parking on site and a free gym and jacuzzi. The only things to bear in mind are that this hotel is geared at businesses, not family. It also has only a small reception so checking in or out can take some time - add 10 minutes if you're booking a taxi or being picked up. In Summer rooms can get very hot and the air conditioning doesn't always work that well. Overall though a really good business hotel.

Good hotel for business trips, amazingly the price includes a great free buffet every night. Has really funny reclining beds. Lots of free parking.
