Stayed here two nights in mid-summer. Rooms not air-conditioned but rainy day helped keep temps down. Room furnishings would be considered dated style-wise but everything worked, room was clean and quiet. Might have been recently refurbed. Did not do dinner at hotel but breakfast was well stocked and adequate. We requested double room, got single. Staff immediately fixed problem, no hassle. Strength of hotel is central location one block from train station. Good restaurants nearby. Would be a good base for exploring area as long as you are not counting on hotel to be the attraction. As the headline says, comfortable, adequate, but nothing spectacular. We would stay here again.

This Hotel needs a renovation, very tired & old. It is overpriced for what it is. The Hotel does not have air conditioning & the room was very hot on our mid July day. We tried the restaurant for dinner, but walked out after waiting 20 minutes to be served only to find that they didn't stock bottled water or dry ginger ale. Contrary to the Hotels own literature reception was unable to recommend another restaurant. Apart from the excellent hot buffet breakfast our stay was disappointing.

I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights in April 2011. The room was equipped with quite outdated furniture. The bathroom was very basic and had a very unpleasant smell. Neither minibar nor tv were working properly. Nothing was done about this although I complained on the first day. The service was not unfriendly, but completely uninterested. The breakfast buffet was good and the location of the hotel is very convenient (close to the station and city centre). However, altogether this was not worth the money that I paid for it.
