This is a very small and cozy hotel. The location is outstanding, within Helsinborg's city center and shopping district, although you may experience some noise during evenings (especially weekends) from people going to the nearby clubs, however not to an extent that this is a negative point. There is a small staircase leading to the reception desk, however there is an elevator. Reception staff very helpful and efficient. Each room has its own decor. I booked a single, which however WAS A TINY room, surely not recommended for anyone with claustrophobia. No wardrobe, just some hungers beside the room's entrance. therefore, DO not book a single if you plan to stay for long time in the room. WiFi was available free of charge. Space was also very limited in the bathroom, although what annoyed me most was that there was no curtains or blinds fitted to the bathroom's window. To be more specific with that the window glass was sanded (frosted) however only 2/3 of it. The rest 1/3 was clear glass and the ...Reception area was just outside the window!!! A friend of mine staying in the same hotel, who booked a single received a double bed and the size, as he said was relative ok. Therefore pls have that in mind. There was an unattended breakfast buffet, which although small in size was ok in terms of relative variety for a breakfast given the standards of the hotel. During the evening the small breakfast area is transformed to a restaurant (Maria Tapas) which as I heard -but not tried- is tasty. During the evening you pass through the restaurant to get to the rooms. I could have given the hotel a 4 star rating, however the size of the single room is disappointing.
