I stayed here for one week during the Umea football festival and had a very pleasant time. We had a problem at check-in as I had booked a twin room and the room had a double bed instead of two singles. After speaking to reception they had organized another room. The guy on reception was extremely courteous and helpful in this and other queries we had about travel around the town, places to eat etc. Breakfast is really nice and they accommodated us when we needed to eat prior to usual 7.30a.m. start time. The only disappointment was when one day our room was not serviced and we had to request clean towels and toilet roll which had run out. Would definitely recommend though.

Clean rooms, comfortable bed, a decent breakfast buffe´ and at an excellent location. All this to a reasonable price. It's a "design hotel" and they have succeded quite well.

Only thing I can complain about is that there is no parking space included instead it's really expensive. (somewhere around 100SEK)

I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Umeå.

We have stayed here a couple of times this fall and it was a very nice experience. The hotel is comfortable, a bit "designed", cosy, rather high servicelevel, good restaurant, a bar, nice breakfast and friendly staff. It seems that the manager is "always" there and I think that might be one of the things that makes this a nice wellrunned lovely centrally situated place to stay at when in Umeå. they also have a garage which might be very good in the winter.

Firstly my gripes:
1) Bed too soft - both myself and my colleague got sore backs!
2) The space in the shower doors - there is a space under and in the middle of the shower doors which therefore soaks the tiny bathroom and the bath matt

The hotel itself is very nice and the restaurant excellent (especially the steak).
The rooms are modern and have everything you need for business (fast free internet).
I would choose to stay here for business but not for pleasure - the rooms are quite small and despite having a double room you get 2 single duvet covers.

I have also stayed at the best western and, despite it being not nearly as modern, I had a huge room and a better breakfast there (and it probably cost less and is in a better location!)
