Hotel Loeven is situated on one of the main streets of Copenhagen. The reception is located on the first floor with most rooms on the second floor.
This can be difficult if you have luggage as there is no elevator.
Breakfast is not provided at the hotel which is another drawback.
The room we were given was a very large room with 4 single beds and private facilities.Linen is provided but you make your own bed. This is really not a problem as the price of accommodation is cheap for Copenhagen.
The rooms were clean with fresh towels provided daily.
Copenhagen is a great city where accommodation can be expensive. If you are looking for a cheaper clean hotel in a good location then Hotel Loeven is OK.

room are ok, small, kind of clean.
but after a 3 hour rainstorm there was no hot water anymore for the left 3 days. the staff did not advise at all and if asked, said it was not their fault. of course no discount was offered. such a bad service for almost 100 euro. and copenhagen is not really a city with a nice weather. what can you do if it happens in winter?
more over, there are prostitutes and transvestites in hotel's street, also in fron of hotel's door. maybe colourful, but also unsafe.

Closely located to the central station, this hotel was ideal for us as we were entering and exiting Copenhagen by train. Very basic rooms with single beds only, linen was surprisingly ok. Bathroom is a wet room but decent shower. A little loud on the exterior streets, especially on weekends. Helpful reception staff complete with maps and advice on places to eat. The only weird thing I thought was that you have to make up your own bed (not a big deal) but the cleaning staff come in and give you fresh towels each day. In an expensive city, this hotel overall offers good value for money.

This is a really great hotel, a proper bargain when you compare it in price to other hotels in the city. Don't go there expecting too much - there is just a room, a comfy bed, a wardrobe and a kitchen downstairs to make breakfast. I think reception is only open 1pm til 8pm or something like that. Location is great, very close to the central station.
