Unique hotel located on a tiny man-made island (a small moat is about the largest gap). The hotel is located right next to the Fisketorvet Mall which is great and has a mix of everything. That is about the best thing in terms of location. It's a bit of a walk to other CPH tourist attractions.
Tip, if you are walking to Tivoli or the center of town, exit the hotel out the back and walk along the canal. You'll pass through a mix of offices, hotels, galleries and industrial all built in typical modern skandinavian style. Once you reach the Marriott, head streetside nd you'll hit Bernstorffsgade main street north to the train station and CBD.
Hotel rooms all offer great views no matter where you're located, but higher rooms are the best. Furnished in typical modern contemporary Danish style, each room is well equipped, comfortable, and very white minimalist. As is typical in some Danish style, it may appear cold/clinical at first, but evening brings well thought out warm lighting throughout the room.
Hotel restaurant has a fantastic breakfast (the Danish love breakfast!). Sometimes a bit of a lineup in the morning, and it's a little tricky to find the restaurant the first time, but well worth it.
Taxis are easy to find, and if there are ever none waiting, just walk next door to the shopping mall main pickup/drop off roundabout.
Good for business, not as recommended for families (try the Marriott or Radisson), and not great for tourism (choose the Radisson or someone closer to Nyhavn. Enjoy the island.
Room Tip: Stay above floor 2 to avoid the interior restaurant foot traffic.
