We stayed at Hotel Fy & Bi for a week in September, 2005 with our then 8 month old daughter. We wanted something clean in a great location and a reasonable price, but something with character as well. This inn fit the bill perfectly!!!

Hotel Fy & Bi is about a 10 minute train ride from the main train station in Copenhagen. It is very easy to find from the train station and about a 5 minute walk. It is a nice walk, though small neighborhood shops and homes. We did it late at night with a little one and felt very safe doing so.

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood with lots of small shops, restraunts and cafes. It is a short walk to a grocery store, laundry, pharmacy and many other things that one might need while travelling. We also had bikes the entire time we were there and really enjoyed biking around the area. The hotel has a bike rack out front to lock your bike to at night. The best way to see the city is by bike, not to mention, you'll feel like a real local, as everyone rides bikes everywhere in Copenhagen.

The staff is friendly (not overly friendly though, mind you) and check in was easy. We got there quite early, so we left our bags and ate breakfast in the hotel's restraunt, which was *fabulous*! Really good food, if you're in need of a hearty meal while there. The room was on the 3rd floor (no elevators) and was large, clean and quiet. The rooms themselves don't have much character, but they're clean and have what you'd need for a pleasant stay. It's the inn itself that has *tons* of character! It was built a century ago, so it is a lovely, old stone building with a gorgeous courtyard that is filled with flowers and plants and lots of tables and chairs to enjoy your meal at. We ate breakfast outside everyday, and it was lovely! The breakfasts were plentiful and there was usually a good selection that varied a little from day to day.

All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a clean, quiet place that is reasonably priced. The inn really is pretty and the location can't be beat. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again if we're back in Copenhagen!!
