This was mine and my wifes 3rd stay in Copenhagen as she works in Sweden. We stayed at The Square due to its position and reviews on Trip Advisor. The position is great, near the train station and easy walking to the attractions and shops etc of central Copenhagen. We have stayed in The Scandic Palace and The Wakeup before so knew what facilities to expect in a hotel. The Square was clean, the staff were great and the room and en-suite really nice. The feel of the hotel though was something like a Travelodge not a conventional hotel. The problems also were the bed which was way to soft and a call to reception elicited the response that they did not have firmer matresses. A large piece of hardboard was supplied instead. This didn't stop the bed feeling like you were sleeping on a boat in choppy water. The second issue however trivial it may seem was lack of tea and coffee in the room. We had got a 'superior' room but to get complimentary tea and coffee you had to be 'executive' at an extra 250dk (£30) per night. When we asked reception why this was they said it was normal in scandinavia, they didn't have a response when I pointed out we had got it in both the Scandic Palace and The Wakeup
