“Perfect location, amazing price!”

In a city where everything comes with a massively inflated price tag, the Maritime Hotel is a nice surprise. I booked the hotel very last minute as a quick New Year break with a friend and was dubious at how cheap it seemed. When we arrived however, we were pleasantly surprised. The location is fantastic, it really couldn't be more conveniently situated for all touristy persuits. It's about 5 minutes walk from the Kongens Nytorv Metro, making it easy to travel to and from the airport and around the city, and just around the corner from the famous Nyhavn with its picturesque architecture, cafes and bars. Everything else you would want to see or do is within a short walk which cuts down on paying for public transport.

The hotel room itself was nothing special but it was clean and the beds were really comfy. Breakfast was varied, offering something for most tastes and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Free hot drinks and newspapers are also available.

For the price, you'd be hard pushed to find anywhere better for a Copenhagen city break and is worth staying at for the location alone.

could not have been better located in central Copenhagen, could easily come back for an afternoon rest or coffee, then go out again. Perfectly adequate (or more) hotel, room clean, good morning buffet. Pleasant reception staff. Easy metro ride from airport, and 5 min. walk to hotel from metro stop.

“Great Location, Nice Hotel”

This hotel is in a great location. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Museums, Tivoli Gardens, the Little Mermaid, Rosenborg Slot, Nyhavn..... The hotel had tea and cookies and fruit available throughout the day and was very comfortable. The staff gave us good advice on places to eat. We enjoyed our stay here.

“Good location, no unpleasant surprises”

We stayed at Maritime for just one night. The hotel is quite near to the square called Kongens Nytorv and the famous shopping&walking street Stroget. Also the famous and traditional Nyhavn, an old-style waterfront area with many bars and reataurants is rather close.
The receptionist spoke fluent english and was helpful. Our room was in the 4th floor (the hotel seems to have five floors). Room itself was average in size but clean and in a good condition: no signs of wear and tear. A funny detail was that our bathroom was almost as big as the room. The bed was ok - not too soft. Sound insulation was of normal level, but we must have had rather quiet neighbours, because I did not hear any noise during the night. The breakfast was a typical Scandinavian one - not overwhelming selection, but all the essentials (ham, cheese, eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages, bread rolls, fruit juice, coffee&tea, cereals). In a nutshell Maritime Hotel is an ok place.

“Everything you need in a small package”

The Maritime hotel is in a great location, easy walking distance from everything we wanted to see. Our first impression was that the room was quite small, but it was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and we did have room to open our two suitcases without having to use the bed. The bathroom was surprisingly large! Breakfast was excellent. Tea, coffee and hot choc are available all day in the breakfast room, and it is a good place to relax and write postcards.
