The reveiws that i read re this hotel before we went were a little mixed and the hotel website we found a little unuser friendly. So i didnt have great expectations, but was very very pleasantly surprised, We stayed for 4 nights at the end of November. There are various room options and we selected the 2nd one up the ladder, as one review we read said that the rooms were small (as they can be in city centre hotels). The hotel was easy to find and very conveniently located, in a quiet street off the main road that runs along the canal and a short walk (10 min max) into the centre of copenhagen and Norreport train and bus station (from which you can get easily to the airport). We were welcomed warmly and our room was, although not massive (and not tiny), very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was everything that you would need in the room and bathroom. The room did get very warm and in already cold weather we turned the heating off so it might well be uncomfortably hot in the warmer summer months. However, we opened the window and didnt experience excessive traffic noise or anything because the hotel is a set back from the main road. Whilst we didnt eat in the hotel, i have no doubt that the food would have been lovely. We had a look at the spa and gym facilities which looked great. We would have used the gym, but handnt actually realised that there was one as it wasnt detailed on the website.
We did have a drink in the main bar area, which was very comfy and with Christmas just round the corner was decorated beautifully. The drinks were expensive, but they were everywhere in Copenhagen and the hotel prices were on par with the rest of the city. The service at all times was helpful and friendly.
We loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel was perfect and Copenhagen is really one of the nicest ( even if a touch expensive) cities that we have had the pleasure of visiting. Wouldnt hesitstate in going back again to either the city or hotel.
TIP- if you are able bodied and the weather is dry then dont waste your money on travel cards..... we bought them, but only used it for a trip to Christiana (which we could have walked) and the train back to the airport. Its not a huge city and if you dont mind a bit of exercise then on foot is as easy as anything
