This is a cute little hotel in a great area of Copenhagen and a 5 to 10 minute walk from the central train station (where trains from the airport would arrive). You basically have to walk around Tivoli from the station to get to the hotel.
We stayed here in the summer of 2009 for our honeymoon and we were not disappointed. The rooms are VERY small (slightly smaller than the average for most rooms in all European capitals), but they are clean and functional and decorated with bright and cheerful colors. My only complaint about the room was that there was absolutely no place to put your luggage. We told reception about this and the not so cheerful response was that this was a "minimalistic" design and we weren't in North America!!!
Needless to say, we asked to see a larger room that cost 40 Euros more per night and the only difference was that there was a 4' x 2.5' (1.2x0.8 meter) specifically for a suitcase. Seemed like a very high price to pay just to park a suitcase (or even a car in most cities) for a night! So, we grabbed some brochures from the lobby, put them under the bed and by raising the legs about 1", we were at least able to slide our suitcase under the bed so that we weren't tripping over it every time we went from one side of the room to the other.
We did make a point of going to reception after and told the 2nd girl to let the not-so-cheerful one know, that the Canadians figured out how to make their minimalistic design a bit functional as well by raising the bed!!! She was of course very embarrassed by the original response from her colleague and got a very good chuckle out of our bold proclamation.
Other than that, the Cabanas in the outdoor lounger are a very nice touch if you're visiting Copenhagen in the summer and like to soak in the sun, as is the access to the Ice Bar from inside the hotel. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and we would stay here again because of the great location. The price could have been a little bit lower, it did however include a dinner buffet which we never used, so it wasn't unreasonable either.
