Stayed 2 nights in a "large" room which is barely large enough for two persons. Good bed, very clean, everything including TV and wi-fi worked good and was maintained to good standards. Acceptable noise from street and other residents. Breakfast is of good quality, including hot and cold beverages, dairy products and cereals, pastries and delicate small sandwiches. Nice lounge/breakfast area. Very well located, close to/in city centre, and close to "the lakes" for a stroll or jogging tour.
Room amenities are cut down to absolute minimum - no drawers, cupboards, closets, storage facilities, bathroom accessories, beverages etc. Security deposits are located at the hotel entrance. Luggage storage is unattended and accessible to people coming in from the street.

Dear Guest
We are very glad to know that you enjoyed your stay. We also appreciate that our guests will help us improve. And yes, you are right, we have cut down on the storage at Ibsens Hotel. The reason is that our statistics tell us that our guests stay 1 - 2 days in average. From that fact, we assumed that most people would not care to unpack and to hang all clothes on hangers, and would be happier with more room - instead of cupboards.
We have arranged plenty of room beneath the beds to store suitcases. In that way they don't take up space in the rooms.
Regarding luggage storage by reception it is actually very safe. The storage room is equipped with a coded lock. To enter the room, you will need the code from reception. And of course, we don't give the code away to anybody who are not our guest.
