The location of the hotel is second to none. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good. Rooms in dire need of redecoration. On the other hand, guests should not spend too much time in their room.

I have stayed here a few times. It's a nice hotel but a bit like staying in your grandmas house- furnished circa 1940. The staff is really nice and accomidating. Rooms are small but The beds are comfy, once you go thru the maze to get to your room. Get a room in back, although its a side street it's noisy and the linen people come at 630am with their truck. The floors creak and the walls are thin. Nice location next to the opera house and lots of shopping and sightseeing. An free Internet. Fine free basic breakfast included.

Great location, 5 minutes from metro station, walking clockwise around the theatre across from The Magasin du Nord department store. 4 minutes walking to Nyhavn. Very very nice breakfast, despite rather cold coffee. Our room was on the top floor and was rather crapy, uneven floor, twin beds, bare minimal bathroom. Heating system barely sufficient,had to request extra blankets.

The hotel is located next to Kongens Nytorv in Nyhavn, close to the Royal Theater, new port and the finest shopping streets in Copenhagen. It is fast to reach from Kastrup airport either by taxi or by metro. Unfortunately the location is the best asset of the hotel.

It feels it is an old place which needs some redecoration. Getting to the room is often like finding a way through a maze of narrow passages. Once you find a room, you may be surprised by its size - it barely fits a shrunk version of a double bed (ca. 140 cm wide). The desk and a wardrobe are also really tiny. You also need to turn on all the possible lights in the room just to see anything when it is dark outside - the bulbs are extremely low power. Overall cleanliness could be assessed as avarage, however big calcium deposits on the shower dish left a very bed impression.

On the good sides again, breakfast selection was OK though the breakfast area is small and there is not a lot of space to move between the tables. Reception desk staff was quite friendly and helpful.
