If you are a fan of mid-century Danish architecture you owe it to yourself to stay here once. The building, designed by Arne Jacobsen in the late fifies, is a Danish modernist landmark, and the public spaces have been reasonably sensitively retained. The lobby is a tour de force, ranking in feel and detail with the lobby of the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Hong Kong.
The room I had was a different story: Clean and efficient, it was a very small single, and too small to justify the rate.
Service was perfectly fine. The hotel is quite conveniently located, adjacent to the main train station and Tivoli, but if you are doing business with banks, or need to be close to Kongens Nytorv, there are more convenient hotels.
I'd stay here again.
