“Stylish and convenient”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

If you are a fan of mid-century Danish architecture you owe it to yourself to stay here once. The building, designed by Arne Jacobsen in the late fifies, is a Danish modernist landmark, and the public spaces have been reasonably sensitively retained. The lobby is a tour de force, ranking in feel and detail with the lobby of the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Hong Kong.

The room I had was a different story: Clean and efficient, it was a very small single, and too small to justify the rate.

Service was perfectly fine. The hotel is quite conveniently located, adjacent to the main train station and Tivoli, but if you are doing business with banks, or need to be close to Kongens Nytorv, there are more convenient hotels.

I'd stay here again.

Room Tip: Avoid a single room; too small.

“Comfortable business hotel, convenient to central train station and the heart of Copenhagen”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

While some have pointed out this hotel is not new, it is maintained in top condition, the rooms are comfortable and spacious (for Northern Europe), the staff is helpful, and the public spaces are clean and comfortable.
The hotel was built in 1960 and the decor is Danish Modern, which to some appears dated. However, the hotel is spotlessly maintained and has been renovated to keep it up to the standards of a first class business hotel.
The hotel offers free wifi, conference rooms, and a business center. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

“Wonderful Copenhagen!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

Stayed in the Raddisson Royal Blu this weekend. We stayed in a Junior Suite (1502), which was a wonderful corner room with amazing views of Copenhagen. Great room, great bathroom and super soft clean linen.
Right from the start the staff were all amazing in all areas of the hotel. Uffe on concierge was really helpful and couldn't do enough for us.
I can reccomend this hotel on all levels.

“Really a rather basic hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

Location is good, near train station and good restaurants.

The rooms are rather basic, with very limited style to speak of. Lobby fine , some modern antiques but all well worn
Breakfast very nice

“One of the best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

I stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend last summer. It was actually our second time at the hotel and, the same as four years before, it was flawless.

We got a beautiful room on a higher floor overlooking the Tivoli gardens. The room was very cozy and modern with simple designer furniture.

The service at the reception and restaurant were very friendly and helpful.

I am sure that this was not our last time at the hotel.

See the attached photos, they will tell you more. Well, a picture indeed is worth a thousand words.

Room Tip: Higher floor overlooking the Tivoli Gardens.
