A nice hotel located close to the centre of Copenhagen. The decor has seen better days and some of the rooms could do with a makeover. Very helpful and friendly staff and a good breakfast. The best restaurant is the one on the 25th floor but as with all things Danish it is expensive. Well worth using as a hotel.

This is a tipical business hotel. It's not that close to the city centre and it is more intended for gamblers (because it has a big casino) and business trips.
The hotel has renovated rooms (not very long ago) however these are quite on the small side and with an clean but strange bathroom. The hotel service areas are a bit old and should also be renovated.
Breakfast is very simple and for the price it costs it's a complete ripoff.

I am sitting in my hotel room at the Radisson Blu Scandinavia as I write this review. What do I see around me? Furniture with cigarette burns - and I'm in a no smoking room. I see paint peeling off the walls. I see tables and chairs that look like they were stolen from a nursing home. I see a bathroom that is dark, with a shower curtain that doesn't close off the entire shower. This hotel badly needs renovation. Even the common rooms downstairs are dated and tired-looking. One strong positive - the people here are lovely. Smiling and kind. But really, it's time to renovate. The prices are definitely not from the 1970s, so neither should the rooms be.

Here are the basic points as far as I can see:
1. the gym is really big and nice and opens early enough for business travelers. But it is a regular membership type gym also so it gets packed at peak hours. I ended up having to go super early. But compared to a lot of places in Europe I would rather have that, than not have it open till 9am.
2. Breakfast is great.
3. My view was gorgeous.
4. The walls are paper thin. One night I had to call security 3 times on the people who were clearly having a party right above my room. There were several nights where I had trouble sleeping because I could hear so many loud people yelling and being drunk.
5. The food is extremely expensive.
6. The rooms are decorated Ikea style and the outside of the hotel is hideous. It is concrete like some communist building.
7. It is a pretty close walk to most tourist-y things.
