We stayed here for three nights in September after booking on the internet. The area is not very nice but is very safe. The train station with trains to the center is only a five minue walk away. There are two supermarkets nearby and several ethnic restaurants serving reasonably priced food in this expensive city.
As for the hotel itself it could use a good facelift with the carpets in the halls and the rooms showing signs of wear. The bathroom was clean and the beds comfortable. A coffee and tea pot is available in each room. The television was old fashioned but did have some English channels especially Sky News and CNN.
Breakfast is included and it was of very good quality with almost anything someone would imagine eating, from cereals to eggs and bacon. The bread selection was excellent.
Another positive point is the free and safe parking behind the hotel in a three floor garage, that seemed to be empty most of the time.
What really impressed me was the friendliness and helpfulness of the concierges, as a previous reviewer pointed out. We had four different men at the desk during our stay and they were all very helpful and pleasant. All of them spoke very good English.
For the price we paid, considering the prices of lodging in Copenhagen, the hotel is a good deal. It is not luxurious by any definition and probably not three stars but the friendly employees, the breakfast, and the parking make up for any defects.
