we have stayed at Nimb twice and each time it has been perfect.
the service is excellent; staff go out of their way to help you, and talk to you like a friend
the suites are beautiful, the bathrooms large and spacious and the fire a welcome addition in december.
Breakfast is excellent, a huge selection of breads, fruit, cheese, salmon, etc.
Nimb is perfectly located across the road from the station; so you can be in your room within 30min of leaving the airport!!
Both the bar and the vinotek are lovely; we tried the best cheese plate of our lives in the vinotek!
Access to Tivoli, free, was very welcome, especially when decorated for christmas
We would not hesitate to go back another time!!
I agree with most of the other reviewers ... this is a very good hotel.
The welcome we received was warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was large and comfortable and overlooked the Tivoli Gardens, all decked out in festive lights for the Christmas season.
The bar was nice but very busy and it did seem a little odd to have the bar right next door to some of the rooms.
The breakfast was terrific. A fabulous choice was on offer and the staff were an absolute delight, making sure that everything was just right.
We ate in the hotel's Restaurant Herman on one of the nights. One of the best meals of my life. It was served with perfection, it was playful, it was a feast for the eyes ... and it was delicious.
And yes, I would certainly return here.
I have stayed at most places in Copenhagen. Many bad ones (read SAS). The Marriott is great, but if you are looking for something with more personality and a hint of class, the Nimb is the place for you. Beautiful rooms, well appointed, comfortable and clean. Room service from the great Nimb kitchen is excellent, and a real plus. Service is a tad dysfunctional, this is a small place, not an institutional. All is forgotten given the overall quality of everything. On the border of Tivoli gardens, for that kid in you all.
Nimb Hotel's magic is actually in the "backyard". Yes, the front entrance doesn't seem that spectacular, but once past the front desk, the back of the hotel and it's connection to Tivoli Gardens is magical. White twinkle lights and unique architecture give the place a real unique feel.
Good hotel for both vacation and business with easy access to the train station across the street and bus service.
One of my top 3 favorite hotels in CPK.
