We stayed here after the longest day on a cycling trip. The hotel was no more expensive than some of the other hotels we stayed in during our stay and was by far the best. In common with most other Danish hotels of this standard, there is only a shower room, not a bath, but the accommodation is very clean and in that respect I could not fault it. Perfect for cyclists, the portions of (delicious) food are large and the beds are comfortable.
The food is traditional Danish with a twist, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients - lots of fish! The wine list isn't bad, either, and you can buy by the half bottle (wine being very expensive in Denmark, this is a good thing).
There's also a small swimming pool - great for relaxing the muscles after a hard day in the saddle.
The lobby and other downstairs areas are bright and airy, and the service smooth and efficient.
At the time of writing they are building an extension to the hotel, but this didn't really disturb us.
