We booked here to be near the airport and chose it because it described itself as a boutique hotel.
It is no such thing.
It is an overpriced, comfortless motel.
The rooms are laid out in blocks with cars parked outside and since the temperature was minus 10 when we were there, we froze going to the dining room.
I paid £90.45 (including breakfast buffet) for one night but when my credit card bill arrived, the total taken was £101.83. They had taken £11.38 for a non-existent extra guest.
Equally, the evening meal was of poor quality and very overpriced
We had only one course in the restaurant and the bill came to £105.09.
I am sorry to write my first review as a complaint about a hotel in Denmark. We have always found the country expensive but the value and standards to be excellent. Sadly this is not so with the Hotel Svanen.
