From a seasoned traveller, this hotel is seriously the worst I've been to for the price. At most it should only cost 550 DKK for the kind of condition and service. I've stayed in B&B's that are way better and cost less than half.
My review is based on my 4 stays that I had over the course of this year. Each stay lasting between 1 to 3 weeks. Mind you, this is only my own review, my colleagues all had other negative comments. I am in no way trying to discredit this hotel (I have stayed in Radisson hotels that are very nice, for example, in Malmo). This is my honest review.
Pros:
- Good location
Cons:
- horrible state of rooms in desperate need for refurbishment
- rooms are poorly lit
- bad breakfast, especially during the weekends, when there are many people, sometimes the food doesn't even get replenished. The staff seem to think that it is 'ok' to leave the food trays empty and let the customers wait until they don't want to wait longer. Even on weekdays, it takes 20minutes for the cook to fry 2 eggs
- smell of the sewer in the toilet
- dirty bathtub
- leaking shower head
- extremely soft bed
- paper thin pillows
- dusty room (I can see lots of dust collected on my laptop keyboard after each day)
- disgraceful housekeeping (they do not replenish soaps/shower foam/shampoo, I have to write notes or call the front desk to have them replenished)
- rude reception staff - if they're busy and try to call them, they just pick up the phone, say hold on, and leave you on hold until you are fed up and hang up yourself. I later noticed in 1st hand when I was checking out, how they were doing this to other customers. Worst still, the other staff are merely sitting around drinking coffee and chatting behind in their office (I can see them as the office is separated by a glass window), not willing to help the overcrowded reception even though there was a queue of about 6-7 people behind me
- have to pay for gym usage because gym is not a part of the hotel, but it's way too expensive, clearly the hotel has made no effort negotiating for a better deal for its customers
Room Tip: Don't bother with the business rooms, they are just as lousy as the regular rooms with a few ext...

Dear Mr. Sean C.
First and foremost I would like to thank you for staying with us during all your many visits to Aarhus. We truly are grateful that you chose to stay with us although you experienced these problems. I am also most grateful that you took the time to share your experiences with us here at tripadvisor.com.
I am very sorry that we did not live up to the high standards we at Radisson Blu pride ourselves in delivering during each stay with us. I can assure you that I do not take lightly on the issues that you describe. Hence, I have talked to the involved parties responsible for making your stay less enjoyable than it should have been, to ensure that an experience such as yours does not happen again. I am very sad indeed to learn that you feel that the staff is rude and disrespectful. I am very sorry that you feel this way and I will do my best to turn this around immediately.
I would be most grateful if you have anything else regarding your stay to contact me directly. This way it is easier for me to follow-up on the problems you might have encountered. If you can find the time to do so, please send me an e-mail to gm.aarzh@radissonblu.com. Once more, I would like to thank you for sharing your experiences with me. Feedback, such as yours, is an invaluable help in our constant focus on delivering the best service and quality possible. I look forward and hope to welcome you back at the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel Aarhus and I hope you will let us prove to you that these experiences do not represent what our hotel stands for.
Best regards
Peter Laursen
