I stayed at this hotel when travelling on business to Aalborg. I booked a single room but ended up with a twin bed. I suspect all rooms are equipped with at least that size of bed. The room was well appointed and of average size by European standards. The bed was extremely comfortable. The only negative to the room was that the walls seem to be quite thin. There were a few occasions when I could easily hear my neighbouring guest carrying on a telephone conversation.
The breakfast was excellent! Compared to most other breakfasts I've had supplied in European hotels this one had a great deal of selection. Not much in the way of hot foods, just sausage, potato and scrambled eggs but plenty of cold cuts, breads, cereals and fruit.
The location relative to the centre of Aalborg was also a plus. Really, other than the bit of noise from the other rooms this hotel was great.
Oh, one last thing. If you plan on using the gym regularly it was dead first thing in the morning. Bare in mind that the equipment is quite dated and there is limited selection. No free weights.
Room Tip: Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
