did not have separate shower - bathroom was one large room with a shower curtain suspended from the ceiling - moldy floors, water damaged mirror, not airconditioned - avoid this place.

My husband and I stayed in one of the suites with an excellent view over the Limfjord. Room and bathroom are vvery nice and cosy. The staff is extremely helpfull. The breakfast buffet was also very good.

We stayed at First Hotel in Aalborg on our last trip to Northern Jutland. The hotel was fine, lovely room and a super breakfast. My room faced the water so the view was OK, but beside that the surrounding is not so fancy, with at lot of construction going on.

Bed and bathroom are clean but that's the only positive thing I can say. If you're a discerning traveller DON'T STAY HERE. Travel lodges in the UK are better than this. Furniture and decoration in the bedroom have seen better days. Bathroom is clean but can only have a hand held shower as shower head doesn't fit into shower rail properly. Buffet breakfast is OK, but area is generally grubby and carpet in breakfast area and reception lobby is filthy. Rooms are supposed to be non-smoking but everywhere smells of stale smoke. This really is the most depressing hotel I've ever had to stay at. If you're female and travelling on business, don't be fooled by the "business rooms for lady travellers". The bar area is grotty, they don't serve food (so you have to walk a down grubby back alleys if you want to eat!) and you can't even cheer yourself up by raiding the mini bar as that's non existent and you can't even buy a bar of chocolate in the hotel.
